Homemade Salsa

1 small red onion, chopped

1 large garlic clove, smashed and chopped

1 (14.5 oz.) can of diced & fire roasted tomatoes with green chilies

1 handful of fresh cilantro leaves chopped

½ of cup of fresh basil chopped

½ of cup of chopped mango (if you like the sauce sweeter add more mangoes)

¼ cup of jicama (Yambean)

Juice of half a lime

DIRECTIONS:

Hand chop the onions,garlic, mangoes, cilantro, jicama, and basil then put in a blender.homemade salsa in a blender Let the blender run until the mixture has a smooth consistency. Add in lime juice then transfer onto a dish. Add the diced & fired roasted tomatoes with green chilies. smooth salsa- Mix together and chill. Makes 8 servings the finished dish
