My Mom's Lemonade
A hand full of basal, finely chopped
1 cup of Coconut Sugar (it is brown, so your lemonade will be brown)
Roll the lemons and squeeze the juice out of the lemon, making sure no seeds go into the pitcher. Then slice the lemon. Follow the same process for the orange. Combine all ingredients. Let it sit covered in refrigerator for at least 4 hours (Overnight is best). The sugar will draw more juice out of the lemon and orange.
The sugar will draw more juice out of the lemons and orange. Add spring water and stir just before serving.
